We’re thrilled to announce the hosting of the first annual Harriers Junior Football Festival this summer with teams from across the area competing for the Aggborough Cup!
In one of the biggest community events in the club’s history, hundreds of junior players and their families will spend time with us over the May Bank Holiday weekend for three days of football and fun.
The wide-ranging event will be encompassing, with girls and boys between U8 and U13 invited to book teams for a series of small-sided games across the weekend on the hallowed Aggborough turf, the winners at age category playing for the chance to win the coveted Aggborough Cup!

When is the Harriers Junior Football Festival?
The Harriers Junior Football Festival will take place over the course of three days at the end of May, covering the Bank Holiday weekend of Saturday, 24th, Sunday 25th and Monday 26th May 2025.
Where will the Harriers Junior Football Festival take place?
We’re pleased to say the whole event will take place at Aggborough Stadium, from start to finish, giving young, local teams the chance to have a run out on the DY10 turf!
Who can participate?
This event has been specially formatted to be fully inclusive for all junior ages and for both boys and girls. Starting with U8 teams, the age groups rise up to U13s.
The only restriction on entry to the Harriers Junior Football Festival is that teams must already be existing and registered as playing junior football in the local area.
How can I book a team?
Booking is easy and can be done below. Places are open now, but are limited, so if you are interested in securing a spot you for a team you know, act swiftly!
How much will entry cost?
With the local community in mind, team entry has been capped at just £100 per team, with squads up to a maximum of ten players each making it just £10 per player. There is a special discount in place to junior teams already registered under the Harriers umbrella.
Every player in every team entered will also receive a voucher from Harriers which will enable them to access a completely free junior ticket and a discounted adult ticket to a home league game in August, September or October of the 2025-26 season, with the value of these savings from this voucher worth more than the cost per player to enter the Junior Football Festival!
What is the format of the Football Festival?
Each team entered into the Junior Football Festival is guaranteed a minimum of four matches on the Aggborough pitch, with winning sides then progressing further in the competition as the day goes on.
The Festival will go on for three days, but each team will start and finish its matches across the same day.
There will be medals and trophies on offer for each winning team and runner-up, while the overall Champions will get the chance to strut their stuff again at half time during a Harriers first team home game during the 2025-26 season.
A dedicated App will be available to all entered teams detailing a full itinerary of timetables and schedules.
Can family members attend to watch the matches?
Absolutely! Family members are welcome and encouraged to attend what is a family themed event.
What else is on offer?
As a family event, the showpiece of the Harriers Junior Football Festival will, of course, be the action on the pitch, but there will be more besides!
We’re pleased to say that a range of food stalls and fun activities will be on offer around the Aggborough Stadium footprint with full details to be confirmed closer to the time.
